Henna Temporary Tattoo

Henna tattoo became a fashion rage when Celebrities like Madonna and Demi Moore started sporting it in the late 1980. It was an ancient body art that started from the Middle East Asian countries and evolving to today’s modern genre for artistic expression.
This temporary tattoo is not only popular in the United States and Britain but all over the world. It became the best alternative for ink and permanent tattoo because, it is safer and cheaper. But the very reason why people loved it is the fact that it is temporary, you get the same as the real thing but, you will never go off style. There are various henna tattoo design and they are so easy to make.
Everyone can do henna tattoo on their own, it is so easy to prepare as long as you know how. It is very basic actually and the procedure in making henna paste is so simple and the henna tattoo materials to use are all organic and safe.
For henna paste:
- Henna or menhdi leaves
- Eucalyptus or lavender oil
- Coffee or tea liquid
For application:
- Plastic tube bottle (or toothpick… anything you are comfortable with)
- Tattoo design/pattern
Procedure:
Dry henna leaves under the heat of the sun. When dry enough, pound it till it turns into powder.
Add the henna powder with a certain amount of coffee or tea liquid to moisten it. Make it is neither too watery nor hard sticky.
Put a small amount of eucalyptus or lavender oil to make it toothpaste like.
Let it settle for 6 to 12 hours.
But, what makes henna tattoo great and better that any other body art is the fact that it can be applied for an hour or less depending on the design size. You need not worry that it would be there for the rest of your life for, you can change it and choose from variety of henna tattoo designs that are available everywhere, you can even experiment with the designs and wear it just the way you like it.
It is a wonderful and the coolest, trendiest art form and should be passed on to generations and kept alive.
